Confession: this is not my first blog. Mitigating factors: the first one was specifically written to chart the making of a short animation, the second charted the progress of several projects at once and the third, er, never really took off at all (but was meant to chart another foray into animation). This is my first writer’s blog.

No angst about meeting deadlines on this one, no sir! This time, the blog is the project. Isn’t that a clever twist? Alright, well, it is for me. Pah. The second and third ‘deadline’ blogs only caused me more stress, whereas with this one, every post will be a little tick off the To Do List in itself. This blog will be a stage for my short stories, possibly a serial and perhaps even a few videos.

But let’s not start the new blog with promises. Let’s start it with exactly what it is: an empty box, with a cursor patiently flickering in and out of existence, waiting to move along as the words flow. And flow they will. Writer’s block no more. Writer’s blog. Ooh, I like the sound of that…
